With thanks beyond measure to Sam Adams, whose commentary and research has been the inspiration to complete this work.
The assault on the Word began at creation:
The prophet Jeremiah proclaimed the perversion of the Word in his day:
The last century has seen the publication of many 'bible' versions, which are in fact not versions, but perversions of the Word of God, in that they blatantly attack the person, deity, and atonement of the Lord Jesus Christ, and pervert the true Gospel of Christ, among many other heresies. These corrupted 'bibles,' which all adopt as their authority a corrupted Greek text which contains over 6,000 deletions and substitutions from the original inspired text, include the NIV [New International Version,] NAS [New American Standard Version,] NKJ [New King James Version,] and many others. It has become clear that God has preserved His infallible and inerrant Word only in the Authorised King James Bible. If you doubt the truth of this statement, consider the following quote from Dr. Frank Logsdon, the theologian and language scholar who led the translation of the New American Standard Version [NAS:]
"I must, under God, renounce every attachment to the New American Standard Version. I’m afraid I’m in trouble with the Lord...We laid the groundwork; I wrote the format; I helped interview some of the translators; I wrote the preface...I’m in trouble; I can’t refute these arguments; it’s wrong, frighteningly wrong, and what am I going to do about it?
"When questions began to reach me at first, I was quite offended...I used to laugh with others...However, in attempting to answer, I began to sense that something was not right with the New American Standard Version. I can no longer ignore these criticisms I am hearing and I can’t refute them...the deletions are absolutely frightening...there are so many...Are we so naïve that we do not suspect satanic deception in all of this?
"Upon investigation, I wrote my very dear friend, Mr. Lockman, explaining that I was forced to renounce all attachment to the NASV. The product is grievous to my heart and helps to complicate matters in these already troublous times...I don’t want anything to do with it. The finest leaders that we have today...haven’t gone into it [corrupted Greek test,] just as I hadn’t gone into it...that’s how easily one can be deceived...
"[Y]ou can say the Authorized Version [KJV] is absolutely correct. How correct? 100% correct!...I believe the Spirit of God led the translators of the Authorized Version. If you must stand against everyone else, stand..." ref: New Age Bible Versions by G.A. Riplinger; AV Publications, Ararat VA [800-435-4535]
The critical difference between the King James Bible and the modern perversions is in the Greek text they were translated from. The KJ was translated from the Received Text or Textus Receptus [TR,] which was compiled and printed in Greek by Erasmus in 1516 from the majority of Greek texts available; hence the alternate term Majority Text. The reliability of this text is based on the premise that as New Testament manuscripts were copied by hand and spread throughout Asia Minor and Europe from the 1st Century AD, the majority of copies would be reliable and errors would only occur in very few of the copies. [This is a good place to add that the translators of the King James Bible were so meticulous in their task, that a single misspelled word or error of any kind resulted in a complete re-write of the affected page. The writer destroyed the corrupted page, bathed, changed clothes and prayed for several hours before returning to work.] Where the KJ differs from the modern perversions, the KJ’s readings are confirmed by thousands of scriptural quotes from the writings of early Church fathers; such as Tertullian, Hippolytus, Irenaeus and Justin Martyr, dating back to the 1st century and the early church at Antioch.
The Satanic assault on the New Testament scriptures began even as they were being written in the 1st century. "For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God..." [2 Cor. 2: 17 KJV*] "...which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction." [2 Peter 3: 16]
The modern revisionist versions were translated from the product of that assault, a corrupted Greek text [Westcott-Hort Text,] fabricated in the 1850's by two English spiritualists named B.F. Westcott and F.J. Hort, neither of whom were true believers in Christ. Westcott denied the deity and substitutionary atonement of Christ, and reportedly dabbled in the occult.1 Both men denied the inerrancy and literal interpretation of scripture. Both also preferred Catholic doctrine. Hort called evangelical doctrine 'perverted' and wrote to Westcott: "Protestantism is only parenthetical and temporary." Hort praised Darwin's theory of evolution in writing and denied that Eden ever existed. Westcott wrote, "No one now, I suppose, holds that the first three chapters of Genesis give a literal history. I could never understand how anyone reading them with open eyes could think they did."2
In compiling their Greek text, Westcott and Hort followed obscure, corrupted manuscripts [Alexandrian Text] which can be traced to a 3rd century apostate named Origen [185-254 AD.] Origen deliberately changed the scriptures to suit his own twisted pagan doctrines [blend of Gnosticism, Platonism & Mysticism.] Origen's work resulted in the Codex Sinaiticus [a manuscript aptly discovered in 1844 in the waste bin of a Mt. Sinai monastery,] and Codex Vaticanus texts later adopted by Westcott & Hort, which delete and substitute key words from the Majority Text in thousands of doctrinally critical places. Footnotes in the modern 'versions' deceptively refer to these as the "oldest and most reliable" manuscripts. The result of this assault is a group of modern perversions of the Word of God [NIV, NAS, NKJ, Living Bible, New World Translation [Watchtower/JW] Good News for Modern Man, etc,] which all make the same heretical deletions and substitutions.
The danger of these new 'watered down' versions is that they can be easily twisted and misinterpreted where the King James cannot, and they can be used to support and teach false doctrines of demons. A trained and discipled Christian may read his understanding of orthodox theology into the modern versions' revised passages, but so can heretics and New-Agers do the same with their demonic doctrines. Even the New King James Version [NKJ,] which generally follows the TR [KJV] text, makes many of the same corruptions the other perversions make, and where it does not do so, it points out with footnotes most deviations from the Westcott-Hort text, which in itself causes great confusion and casts doubt on the authority and reliability of Scripture.
Next week, we will produce a sampling of crucial King James texts which are corrupted in the new versions, and should be enough to convince any skeptic that the new versions do NOT present the inspired word of God, CANNOT be accepted as authoritative, and should NOT be used by Christians.

Attacks on the Person of the Lord Jesus Christ and Denial of His Deity
Denial that Jesus is God
For dedicated revisionists to succeed in their attack on Christ, the first thing necessary for them to do is create doubt about His divinity. By removing the person of the Trinity from Him, they then can add other Gods, or deny the Triune God.
One of the strongest statements in the Bible of Christ's deity.
KJV -
NIV, NAS, RSV – Change 'God' to 'He'
KJB -
NIV – Change 'Lord God' to 'Sovereign and Lord.'
NAS, NLT, RSV – Change 'Lord God' to 'Master and Lord.'
KJV –
NIV, NAS, RSV, NLT - Add "through Jesus Christ our Lord" after "God our Saviour." Shifts the meaning of "God our Saviour" from the Son to the Father.
Note the spelling of 'Saviour' in the King James is changed to 'Savior' in the perversions. This also degrades the deity of Christ, since the only meaning of the word 'Saviour' with a capital 's' in the old English language is God, or Jesus. The spelling without the capital and deleting the letter 'u' is the common savior, such as firemen, life guards, etc. These very subtle changes are overlooked by most, but the reasons for them screams out with a loud voice.
KJB –
[Note: the passage clearly teaches that Christ is God!]
NIV, NAS, RSV, NLT – change 'Christ' to 'God' in v. 10.
NOTE: This corruption also denies the truth of Jesus' statement in John 5:22 that all judgment has been committed unto Him. ["For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:"] This is a very strange oversight by the authors of the perversions, since they all left that statement in John intact for the most part. This of course creates a contradiction, which does not exist in the King James Bible. There is a similar change at Rev. 20:12.
KJV:
NIV, NAS, NKJ, NLT, RSV – Change "God and his Father:" in v 6 to "His God and Father."
NIV, NAS, NLT, RSV – Delete "I am the Alpha and Omega, the first and the last" from v. 11.
KJV –
This verse shows that the New Testament 'Day of Christ' is the Old Testament 'Day of the Lord,' that Christ is the Lord of the Old Testament.
NIV, NAS, RSV, NLT – change 'Christ' to 'the Lord.'
KJV:
NAS, NIV, RSV - change 'Christ' to 'the Lord' – another denial that Jesus is Jehovah of the Old Testament.
KJV:
NAS, NIV, NLT, RSV – change 'Lord God' to 'Christ as Lord.'
Is this the mother of 'Lordship Salvation?' Your call.
KJV:
NIV, RSV, NLT – all change 'from everlasting' to 'from ancient times.' [Or similar wording,] denying Christ's eternal existence.
KJV:
NIV, NAS, NLT, NKJ, RSV – ALL change 'THE LORD' to 'Lord.' This simple little deletion of a tiny little word subtly denies the deity of Christ again.
The point being made here is that a direct statement denying Christ's divinity would cause too much consternation among well versed Bible readers. The well-placed changes leave room for interpretations that fit the agenda of the antichrist. The time worn adage that these 'new translations' make the Bible easier to understand just does not hold water. All these things do is create doubt and dissention, which are wiles of Satan
Times have changed, but God Almighty has not announced any changes to His Word and Law.
King James
NIV, RSV, NLT, NAS Change Christ, the Son of the living God to Holy One of God.
NOTE: This perversion makes Jesus equal to saints and angels, denies that He is the Son of God, and also denies that He is the Christ.
King James
NIV, RSV, NLT, NAS change Son of God to Son of Man.
King James
NIV, RSV, NLT, NAS all change Son to Servant.
NOTE: If we are "no more a servant, but a son", how much more is Jesus, the eternal Son of God, a son and not a servant?
King James
NIV, RSV, NKJ NLT, NAS all change Servant to Slave. They also delete the name Christ, either changing it to God or just deleting that entire portion of the passage. The word slave appears in the entire Bible only one time in Jeremiah 2:14:
"Is Israel a servant? Is he a homeborn slave? Why is he spoiled?"
The plural slaves appears only once in Revelation 18:13: "And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men." The perversions could only be acting to replace servant with that word. See what happens when an effort is made to make the Word of God conform to the satanic heart of lost men?
King James
NIV, RSV, NKJ NLT, NAS All change holy child to holy servant in both verses.
King James
NIV, RSV, NLT, NAS All delete verse 37, although some try to cover this by making totally false footnote statements about it not being in the Majority Text. If not in the Majority [Received] Text, it would NOT appear in the King James Bible!
NOTE: This deletion also denies the apostolic [Baptist] doctrine of Believer's Baptism, requiring that a person believe the Gospel prior to being baptized. This makes the Bible more palatable to Catholics and Protestants, both of which practice infant baptism.
King James
NIV, RSV, NKJ, NLT, NAS All either change Joseph and his mother to his mother and father, or make annotations that it is improper .translation. NOTE: This corruption denies the virgin birth of Christ, which means Christ's deity. Jesus could not be both the son of God and the son of Joseph.
King James
NIV, RSV, NLT, NAS All change Joseph and his mother to his parents. Of course, there are other variations in the verses. After all, the perversions are dealing with copyright laws, and all of them are jealous of their cash cows.
King James
NIV, RSV, NLT, NAS All delete Of our Lord Jesus Christ.
A concerted move is made in most perversions to remove the title Christ from Jesus. I just had a gift of a NWT of the Jehovah's Witness cult. It compares almost verbatim with the NIV, but will indicate any places in my commentary where there appears to be some disagreement between those particular two perversions. Some examples of the denial of Jesus as the Christ follow:
King James
NIV, RSV, NLT, NAS All delete the Christ. NKJ leaves the word, but suggests it may not be properly used there! ALL of the perversions, including the 21st Century NKJ, all delete the letter 'u' from Saviour. This sole form of that particular word did not come into common usage for some years AFTER the King James Bible was translated.
King James
NIV, RSV, NLT, NAS All delete even Christ. NKJ includes the word with a footnote again casting doubt on whether or not the translators had a clue as to the truth.
King James
NIV, RSV, NLT, NAS All delete the former Christ and retain the latter. NLT changes the second Christ to Messiah. NKJ includes both, but again with a footnote on the first one that leaves the reader in doubt.
King James
NIV, RSV, NLT, NAS All delete according to the flesh, and change Christ to One of his descendants. NLT goes even further to identify David as the seed of the Messiah, not God.
NOTE: This antichrist corruption also denies that the Christ would come in the flesh. This will be brought up again in a succeeding portion of this article denoting the denial of the incarnation of Christ
See other deletions of Christ in the NIV at: Acts 15:11, 16:31, 20:21, Romans 1:16, 16:20, 16:24 [entire verse deleted from NIV,] 1 Corinthians 5:4, 9:1,18. 16:22-23, 2 Corinthians 11:31, Galatians 3:17, 4:7 [virtually all the perversions, including NKJ, change the word servant to slave. It is as if there were no servants in biblical times that were not free men who worked in a service. Today's waiters, bellhops, barbers, and a myriad of other service professions would be considered in slavery if the same connotation applied in this century! All servants are NOT SLAVES! 1 Thessalonians 3:11, 2 Thessalonians 1:8, Hebrews 3:1, 1 John 1:7, Revelation 1:9, 12:17 et al.
NOTE: New-Agers teach that Christ-consciousness was attained by Jesus, but can also be attained by others, and that another Christ is coming.
King James
NIV, RSV, NLT, NAS All remove Lord. NKJ inserts it, but again with a footnote that puts the whole passage in question again.
King James
NIV, RSV, NLT, NAS all remove the Lord. NKJ again includes the footnoted insertion, leaving the reader to determine if it belongs in the word of God!.
King James
NIV, RSV, NLT, NAS all delete the Lord.
See the same deletions at: 2 Timothy 4:1, Acts 19:10, 1 Corinthians 16:22
King James
NIV, RSV, NLT, NAS all change hell to the grave in v. 15 and change Lucifer to Morning Star in v. 12. NOTE; JESUS, NOT LUCIFER, IS THE ‘MORNING STAR’
New Agers deny that Lucifer is Satan, deny the bodily resurrection of Christ, and teach that Isaiah 14 is about Jesus, not Lucifer. Both Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses teach that Jesus and Lucifer are brothers.
I mentioned earlier that the Incarnation of Christ (that God became Man) would be denied by the perversions of the Word. The following should demonstrate that fact well.
NAS: and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God, and this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world.
NIV: but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.
NLT: If a prophet does not acknowledge Jesus, that person is not from God. Such a person has the spirit of the Antichrist. You have heard that he is going to come in to the world, and he is already here.
RSV: and every spirit which does not confess Jesus is not of God. This is the spirit of antichrist, of which you heard that it was coming, and now it is in the world already.
NOTE: Because the new perversions deny that God [Christ] has come in the flesh [1 Timothy 3:16, Acts 2:30,] they have to revise the antichrist test! This blatant corruption alone shows that the new perversions are antichrist.
King James
NIV, RSV, NLT, NAS all delete without a cause - making it a sin to be angry. NKJ again uses the slick footnote and leaves you guessing just what is said.
Compare with Matthew 21:12 and John 2:15, where Jesus drove out the moneychangers. Some use this passage in the new perversions to argue thqt Jesus sinned by being angry in this instance.
There are quite a few more items to bring to bear before this study is finished. Next we will check on the Denial that Jesus was worshipped, of Jesus’ role in Creation, that He ascended into heaven, and some of the heinous deletions that make denial of Christ’s doctrine seem logical when viewed through the deleted perversions. You will be amazed at the complex distortions that were made, not for the interest of forwarding the Gospel, but in the interest of protecting copyrights and the cash flow to the godless authors of perversity.
This study will give exposure to the need for the Word of God to be perfect and without controversial man-made and Satan-directed changes, additions, and deletions. Many will not take the time to verify these facts. I suggest that failure to see and understand the importance of being misled by perverted 'scripture' is the paving stones on the road to destruction of body and soul.
To ensure that the deity of Christ is placed in doubt, one of the most important things for the fathers of perversion is to carefully suggest is that He did not ascend into heaven. Two of the most critical passages are included below:
King James
NIV, RSV, NLT, NAS All delete which is in heaven. NKJ and NLT both footnote to create confusion as to which is correct.
Note: I discovered something very amazing to me while running comparisons of various perversions. This was in the NWT of the Jehovah's Witnesses who deny the deity and salvation afforded by Christ. This will be the source of another writing in the future. Keep in mind the fact that I hold deep Christian love for all those who are victims of these heresies, and that exposure of false doctrines in them is done because I care for the salvation of their souls.
NIV, RSV, NLT, NAS, NWT All delete because I go to the Father.
Again, I want to remind the reader that these apparent 'small' changes or deletions leave the door open for conflicting conclusions. That is the reason these things are so dangerous. When read by an un-believer, he can draw conclusions that do not fit the facts.
We will now observe some more changes and deletions, which put a heavy strain on the doctrines, taught by Christ. For the rest of this study, I will only mention NKJ when there is a profound difference. The authors of this particular 'version' have put controversy and confusion in their work through constant footnotes referring to 'manuscripts' which have not been available for centuries. My own opinion is that if I had to pick a 'worst of the bad,' that it may even replace the NIV at the top of my list.
NIV, NLT, NAS, RSV, NWT - delete bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
NIV, NAS, NLT, RSV, NWT - delete to repentance
NIV, NAS, NLT, RSV, NWT - delete draweth nigh unto me with their mouth.
11. For the Son of Man is come to save that which was lost... Completely deleted from NIV, RSV, NLT, and NWT. Footnoted out of NKJ and NAS.
This passage is so brutally mutilated by all the perversions, that an entire page could be devoted to it. One thing common to all is the total deletion of and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.
NIV, NAS, NLT, RSV, and NWT - all delete ...and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive.
NIV, NAS, NLT, RSV, and NWT - all delete for many be called, but few chosen.
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer; therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.
This passage is completely deleted from NIV, NLT, RSV, and NWT. NKJ and NAS footnote it to be an older manuscript. [My question: who decided to remove this from the older manuscript, if indeed they had access to the dust it had degenerated into by the time this perversion was written?]
King James
NIV, RSV, NLT, NAS, NWT All delete the last sentence Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment, than for that city.
NIV, NAS, NLT, RSV and NWT all delete "…as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things you do."
NIV, NLT, RSV, and NWT – all delete this entire verse. NAS and NKJ footnote it into irrelevance.
NIV, NAS, NLT, RSV and NWT – all delete "…nor tell it to any in the town."
King James
NIV, RSV, NLT, NAS, NWT All delete take up the cross.
King James
NIV, RSV, NLT, NAS, NWT All delete ...for those that trust in riches.
King James
NIV, RSV, NLT, NWT All delete this verse entirely. NAS and NKJ footnote it to indicate the total lack of inspiration in the authors of their heresy.
King James
NIV, RSV, NLT, NWT All delete spoken of by Daniel the prophet.
Luke 4:4
King James
NIV, RSV, NLT, NWT All delete but by every word of God.
King James
NIV, RSV, NLT, NAS, NWT All delete and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan.
NOTE: I can remember my mother admonishing me to say Get thee behind me, Satan when I was tempted to do things I knew were wrong. I thank God I remembered that, even when I was backslid on the edge of hell. It probably kept me out of the eternal fire.]
King James
NIV, RSV, NLT, NAS, NWT All the perversions have mutilated this two verse passage a little differently, but the end result is to either delete and ignore, or to include and footnote out, the following: 55: delete ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. 56: delete For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them.
Most Christians believe in the Triune God, in one way or another, but those who would destroy this belief really pulled out the stops on this one. The acceptance of the mystery of the Trinity is just too much for the doubters that started the attack on the Word. The way to get past this problem was to deny it, and they did a good job of trying.
King James
NIV, NWT, RSV, NLT, NAS All delete verse 7 completely and invent their own fixture in it’s place. NONE of them are worded identically. If God’s word is pure, true, and perfect, there is a problem here!
King James
NIV, NWT, RSV, NLT, NAS, NKJ All delete Godhead and insert Divine being or Divine Nature. The same is done in Romans 1:20 and Colossians 2:9, except NKJ which could not make up it’s mind and used Godhead, although in different context. The Demasculinisation of God [Changing Him to The One]
King James
NIV "He who speaks on his own does so to honor himself, but he who works for the honor of the one who sent him is a man of truth; there is nothing false about him."
NAS "He who speaks from himself seeks is own glory; but He who is seeking the glory of the One who sent Him, He is true, and there is no unrighteousness in Him."
In the perversions, there are many different changes and references, which remove the masculine identity of God. Following are some examples: Matt. 13:37, Luke 10:16, 12:5, John 4:25, 6:46, 12:45, 15:21, Acts 7:38, 10:42, 22:9, 1 Cor. 15:28, Col. 3:10, Heb. 5:7, 7:21, 1 Peter 1:15, Rev. 1:18, 2:1.
NOTE; I am not a Greek scholar, but am told by one who is that all references to God are clearly masculine. This heresy sets the stage for global worship of the New Age mother Goddess, "the virgin."
King James
NIV, RSV, NKJ NLT, NAS All change JEHOVAH to the Lord.
King James
NIV, RSV, NKJ NLT, NAS All change JEHOVAH to the Lord. The same change may be seen at Gen. 22:14, Judges 6:24, Isaiah 12:2 and 26:4
NOTE; Identification of God as Jehovah or Yahweh is taboo to ecumenical New-Agers who want a global religion and want to say we all worship the same God.
[Deny man’s need for salvation]
King James
NIV, RSV, NWT NLT, NAS change in you all to in all. [Pagan pantheism, God is all and in all]
NOTE: If God is IN ALL, there is no need for anyone to get saved: His is already in everyone! Paul was talking to the believers in Ephesus, not to the world.
King James
NIV, RSV, NWT NLT, NAS, NKJ All change unbelief to disobedience. Same change at Hebrews 3:18, 4:6,11; John 3:36.
King James
NIV, RSV, NLT, NAS change Son of God to Son of Man. Make Salvation Difficult
Matt. 7:14 - Perversions change strait or narrow to difficult way.
King James
NIV, RSV, NWT NLT, NAS All delete for them that trust in riches.
King James
NIV But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ.
NAS But I am afraid that, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, your minds will be led astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ.
RSV But I am afraid that as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your thoughts will be led astray from a sincere and pure devotion to Christ. NOTE: It is imperative to eliminate the simple belief in Christ as the means of salvation if we are trying to teach that it is very hard to get to heaven. Change Faith to Faithfulness in Matthew 23:23 and Galatians 5:22 in both NIV and NAS.
King James
NIV, NAS, RSV "In whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins."
NOTE: NLT and NKJ include the statement through his blood, but footnote it to obscurity with a totally false statement that it only appears in later texts. Translations of the Textus Receptus far back in history included those words. Gail Riplinger has done a masterful piece of work on the origins of the different texts, and I will lean heavily on her findings in the future. Several others with much more credibility than I could claim for myself will be referred to also. There are many perversions of Scripture in all these 'new' publications which will be covered in a later part in this series.
King James
NIV "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation, the old has gone, the new has come." NAS "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature, the old things have passed away; new things have come."
King James
NIV, RSV "One God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all." NAS "One God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all."
NOTE: If God is already in all, what is the necessity for salvation? Paul was speaking to a congregation of saved believers, not making a general statement to whomsoever reads the epistle.
King James
NIV, NAS NLT, NKJ "All change power to right. Translators of NKJ did not even footnote this one, they wanted to be certain to pass on the belief that God did not invest power in ANY man." Changing "IS SAVED" to "WAS SAVED" [Changes secure state of eternal salvation to a past event of initiation]
King James
NIV, NAS NLT, NKJ "All change power to right. Translators of NKJ did not even footnote this one, they wanted to be certain to pass on the belief that God did not invest power in ANY man." 1 Corinthians 1:2,5; 6:11 Perversions change are washed, sanctified, justified, to were.
Ephesians 2:8 Changes from are saved to have been saved. This leaves the door open to claim the possibility that salvation can be lost.
Colossians 2:10; 2:20 and 3:1,3 Perversions change be risen and are dead to have been raised and died.
1 Timothy 6:12 Change art called to were called.
2 Timothy 2:11 Change be dead to died
1 Peter 1:23 Change being born again to have been born again.
NOTE: Initiation rites are central to all forms of Luciferian cultic worship.
King James
NIV, NAS NKJ, RSV "All change from gospel of Christ to gospel."
King James
NIV, NAS NKJ, RSV "All change gospel of Christ to Christ."
King James
NIV, NAS RSV "All change Christ to It. NKJ inserts Christ, but with their idiotic footnote that says it does not belong there."
King James
NIV, NAS RSV "All delete on me. Again NKJ has it with the devil's footnote."
One very flagrant example here should suffice.
King James
NIV, RSV "Both delete the entire verse. NKJ and NAS both claim it is not in the text of the majority, which of course if a flagrant lie."
King James
NIV, NAS RSV "All delete but by every word of God."
King James
NIV, NAS RSV "All delete quick and powerful and insert active"
But the new versions are easier to read [NOT!]
Many Christians prefer the new perversions because they are under the illusion that they are easier to read than the King James Version. However, the KJV ranks actually easier than the new versions in 23 out of 26 comparisons on the Flesch-Kincaid grade level indicator [5th grade reading level,] and in most verses is easier for children to read. In most passages the new perversions have replaced simple, one-syllable words from the KJV with more complex multi-syllable words. This was done because the new perversions are copyrighted [$!] which the KJV is NOT. Copyright laws require the publishers to make substantial changes in text from the KJV.
Examples:
NIV, NAS, NLT, NKJ, RSV – All change new to 'unshrunk' in Mark 2:21
The variety of word uses amongst all the perversions in some of the following verses is a good example of 'Scripture du jour' for those who want to make the Word fit their own idea of what God intended to say. Mat. 8:11, Lk. 5:29, Mat. 11:26, Lk. 10:21, Jn. 7:8, Acts 11:24,26, Col. 2:13, 2 Thes. 2:3, Acts 25:20, Acts 27:30, Acts 19:23.
Inasmuch as over 6,000 changes and deletions have been executed by the perversions, there is no limit to the number of places that the text of the King James Version has been corrupted by them. Note 1 below sources many of them.
Because of copyright laws, the new perversions can never use as simple words as the King James Version.
Some readers object to the KJV's use of archaic words like thee, thou, thine, and ye. However, these words were used [even after they had begun to cease from English conversational use,] to convey the singularity or plurality of the person[s] addressed. This is conveyed in the Greek and Hebrew, but is not possible using only the common English pronouns "you" or "your". When Jesus said to the Pharisees in John 8:44, "ye are of your father the devil" we know from the KJV that he was speaking to the entire group, not just one individual. Similarly, in the KJV the singular terms the and thou means 'you alone,' and thine means 'yours alone [for Thine is the kingdom" – Matt. 6:13.] These distinctions from the original manuscripts are lost in the new perversions. The few problems with other archaic terms used in the KJV such as suffer [permit,] prevent [precede,] etc, can be easily overcome with a brief education in the definitions and usage of these terms.
NOTE: A copy of Noah Webster's 1828 American Dictionary of the English Language is a perfect companion to the serious reader of the Word of God.
To understand the very serious business of keeping the Word of God pure and inerrant, just as it is promised, it would be most helpful for the reader to take time to read the message to the readers of the King James Version from the translators who worked so faithfully and diligently to keep it perfect.
God takes His Word very seriously. He has even magnified His Word above His name [Ps 138:2,] and expects His children to tremble at his word [Isaiah 66:5.] Despite all of Satan's efforts to destroy it, God has preserved His Word. The greatest group of Bible and language scholars ever assembled rejected the corrupt Alexandrine Text available to them, and following the traditional text which God preserved through the ages, produced the King James Version. In light of the Satanically inspired deletions and substitutions made in the new perversions, there is no excuse for any Christian who has been presented with this information to continue using any of the new perversions of God's Holy Word, which has been preserved for us only in the Authorized King James Version.
I will return from time to time with some in-depth studies of some of the perversions and the heresies they contain. Inquiry and comment is welcome.
Please, if you want to denigrate or criticize the above studies, include source of your contradictory information. The most common thing I hear is that 'the original' scriptures convey different thoughts than those I adhere to. If there exists a single word of any original manuscript, what in the name of heaven is it written on?
God Bless
