What was the pre-Flood world like?

Life prior to the Flood was doubtless very different than life today.

A. It was probably warm around the globe, with a pleasant and mild climate. In addition to scriptural inferences, the presence of great oil deposits and plant fossils found near both North and South Poles give conclusive evidence that the world’s climate was once temperate or even subtropical.

B. Lush vegetation may have thrived worldwide.

C. There was apparently no rainfall. Instead, earth was watered by dews and artesian springs.

D. It may have had no deserts or ice caps.

E. The land surface was more extensive and the oceans much smaller.

F. The topography was more rolling, without the rugged mountains or deeper canyons, which affect our weather so much today.
